I walked down the hallways of Forks High School wondering when the day was going to end. I had detention, like most days. Nothing ever happens here. It's like the most boring place on Earth. I sighed as I walked slowly to lunch. The only time of the day I like when I'm at school. Everyone was sitting at the table already when I arrived. My sister was waving to me and she saved a seat for me. I walked to the table and sat down.
"Hi Derek. How are you?" She asked as if she doesn't live with me.
"Fine. How about you?" I asked her. I smiled as I seen her smile.There was going to be a long explanation about her answer.
"I fine. Oh my god. I just met this girl, she is like so different from us. I mean she is so pale and her features are all perfect. I mean she looked like a super model." She told me. Then a girl came up to my sister and she looked like the girl Kayla has just described.
"Can I sit with you?" She asked nicely.
"Sure. This is my brother, Derek." Kayla told her.
"Derek, this is Felicia." She told me. I held out my hand to shake hers. She looked at it like she didn't know what to do. Then she looked at her hand and took mine and shook it. She was wearing gloves.
